SUMMARY:"The Elegance of the Qin" Guqin Concert
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Date: 11.01.2025 19:45 Saturday\n \nVenue: Macao Cultural Centre Small Auditorium \nArtistic Director: Chen Leiji \n\n\n\n\n\nProgramme Highlights: \n\n\n\n\nGuqin and Pipa Duet “Quietude”\nComp. Liu Tian Hua\nArr. Qi Hao Di\n\n\nGuqin and Drum Duet “Li Sao”\nAdapted from the “Magic Secret Score” (1425)\n\n\nQuartet “Cloud Herding”\nComp. Yao Chen\n\n\nGuqin and Orchestra “Swans On The Shoal”\nTranscription by Zhang Zi Qian\nArr. Zhou Chen Long\nGuqin：Chen Leiji\n\n\n\nIn 2003\, the profound and remote art of Guqin was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. When the strings of the guqin are plucked\, the sound is rich in historical flavor and cultural metaphor. \nWe invited the most influential contemporary Guqin master\, Chen Leiqi\, to lead this performance! Chen Leiqi\, had played a stirring first note in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008; his performance was exquisite and meaningful. The concert will present a number of famous guqin pieces. Please come and listen to the murmur of nature and immerse yourself in a tranquil and peaceful realm. \nApproximately 1 hour and 30 minutes\, including one interval \n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_btn title=”Ticket Registration” style=”gradient-custom” gradient_custom_color_1=”#ff6e02″ size=”lg” align=”center” button_block=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.macauticket.com%2FTicketWeb2023%2Fen%2Fprogramme%2FP-055058||target:%20_blank|”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
