Presentations by the orchestra\u2019s performers and professionals will offer youngsters a glimpse into Chinese instruments\u2019 structure, sound-making principles and other musical knowledge and skills, aiming to promote their understanding and appreciation ability in traditional Chinese music. In addition, participants will have opportunities to learn about the production of a concert right on the site, and get an insight into the rich Chinese music culture as well as the day-to-day operation of an orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>Target audience: Full-time students below 25*<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program contents<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding instruments with hands-on practice.<\/li>\n<li>Appreciation of musical pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Backstage tour of the concert.<\/li>\n<li>Concert appreciation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Privileges for participants<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Priority to participate in outreach activities of the Macao Chinese Orchestra concerts.<\/li>\n<li>Free entrance to certain concerts.<\/li>\n<li>Get the latest information of the Macao Chinese Orchestra performances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><br \/>\nApplication form can be downloaded online.
