Conductor and Professor Zhang Guoyong is a world-renowned conductor with expertise at both Chinese and Western music. In this concert, his very first with the Macao Chinese Orchestra, Zhang is partnering with zhongruan player Wei Yuru and dizi performer Yuan Feifan to present new works in traditional Chinese music, of which Macao Capriccio composed by Wang Danhong is a peculiar piece already familiar to Macao audiences.
