Stone-Slab Waist<\/em> is full of northern Shanxi local flavour, representing abustling scene with boisterous sounds of the waist drums. Tan Dun injects innovation into this work while still respecting tradition, thus rejuvenating the genre. Macao Rhapsody No. 2<\/em> was specially commissioned by the Macao Chinese Orchestra. This new take on Chinese music will surely be praised.<\/p>\n
