On a brightly lit night, a music painting with profound artistic conception and brilliant ink charm is in the making. A bright, crisp sound of plucked strings gradually intertwines with the timbres of several instruments, just like ink drops unfurling on a rice paper, in a glorious feast of Freehand Landscape<\/em> created by Chinese music.<\/p>\n

The Daruan concerto Be Better Daily<\/em> presented by the Macao Orchestra\u2019s Ruan player Zhu Wenyao portrays a yearning for a better tomorrow through a jazzy\u00a0and\u00a0humorous musical\u00a0language. In addition, the concert features Hymn<\/em>, the 6th piece from the suite Bach\u2019s Musical Melodies<\/em> composed by renowned contemporary Chinese composer Tang Jianping on the 250th anniversary of J. S. Bach\u2019s death. The work combines Prelude No. 1<\/em> from Well\u00a0Tempered Clavier<\/em> by Bach and melodies of ancient Chinese Buddhist tunes, presenting a spiritual dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures.<\/p>\n
