The sound of music, the blossoming of new rhythms.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Macao Chinese Orchestra has been committed to discovering, nurturing and supporting young musical talents, providing a valuable platform for emerging musicians to collaborate with a professional orchestra and thus shine their bright potential. The \u201cBlossom and Flourish\u201d Elite Concert will be conducted by Ge Yanan, the young conductor of the China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra, and will feature huqin performer Zhang Haiyue, first prize winner of the Erhu Competition of the 14th Chinese Golden Bell Awards for Music, as well as the popular yangqin duo \u201cYangqin CP\u201d, made up of young musicians Ip Iek Chio and Chou Teng Teng, together presenting a powerful emerging force.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, talented young local musicians will be featured, such as Lam Cheok Sing, winner of the Cultural Affairs Bureau Prize (Chinese Instrumental Solo) at the 42nd Macao Youth Competition, who will perform Chinese percussion; and Sacred Heart Canossian College (English Section) , winner of the Gold Prize in the category of Choirs under 16 – piece of their choice – at the Musica Orbis Prague Festival 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

The concert will also include the performance of \u201cLittle Soloists\u201d, young musician auditioned by the Macao Chinese Orchestra, bringing new energy to the music field!<\/span><\/p>\n
