A brand-new chapter of the beloved family music theatre series Musical Magic Wand is here! The Macao Chinese Orchestra joins hands once again with the acclaimed Water Singers a cappella ensemble to bring you an engaging adventure through the magical world of Chinese percussion \u2013 one of the four major families of the Chinese orchestra.<\/p>\n

Audiences will be transported into the legendary Journey to the West, specifically the iconic battle against the Bull Demon King. Follow our heroes as they outwit the demon with the magical Banana Leaf Fan and extinguish the flames of the Fire Mountain!<\/p>\n

Packed with captivating stage design, dazzling traditional costumes, and a plot full of surprises, this multisensory performance promises a fun and meaningful experience for both adults and children. Let the high-spirited rhythms of Chinese percussion awaken your senses and lead you into the enchanting realm of Chinese music.<\/p>\n

Synopsis:
\nPreviously, the Monk Tang and his three disciples travelled across multiverses with the power of string instruments. This time, they arrive in a lively village during a harvest celebration. Suddenly, a thick smoke envelops the village\u2014rivers turn black, trees wither, and darkness falls. Worse yet, Master Tang mysteriously disappears! Suspecting the Bull Demon King behind this destruction, Sun Wukong, Pigsy, and Sandy must now harness the power of Chinese percussion to defeat the demon and revive the polluted land.<\/p>\n
