To commemorate the 115th anniversary of the birth of Cantonese music master Liu Tianyi, the Chinese Orchestra is proud to present a concert dedicated to Cantonese music, featuring the maestro’s brilliant musical career and his outstanding contribution to Cantonese music through carefully arranged repertoire. Yu Qiwei, a contemporary master of Cantonese music and a disciple of Master Liu Tianyi, is invited to be the Artistic Director of the concert, which will be performed together with Hong Kong’s renowned chamber orchestra “Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble”.<\/p>\n
