The strings of the bow gently whisper, and the pearls and jades fall between the fingers. The concert focuses on the exquisite dialogue between the bowed strings and the plucked strings.
Praised by the Los Angeles Times as the ‘Spokesperson of the Pipa’ and a five-time Grammy Award nominee as the ‘Ambassador of Chinese Music’, Wu Man, the world-renowned pipa master, will lead the audience to explore the infinite possibilities of the strings and fingers. With her world-renowned artistic skills, the audience will be able to experience the purest aesthetics of Chinese instrumental music in a programme that is a fusion of the East and the West.
