Bianzhong – the crystallised art of the Bronze Age, the oldest set of percussion instruments in China, consisting of orderly sized bronze bells suspended from a majestic bell frame, forming a complete rhythmic system.
The Chinese Orchestra is proud to present the closing concert of the 2025-26 season, joining hands with the Bianzhong National Orchestra of Hubei Province Opera and Dance Drama Theatre for the first time, to bring to the Macao stage magnificent ceremonial music. Using the Bianzhong as the main axis, the orchestra will perform ‘Transcendence’, ‘Timeless Resonance’ and ‘Eternal Rhythms of Chu’, the millennial resonance resounds across Macao!
